Definitely Motoring takes a break

YOU might have been wondering from the lack of updates in recent times. Is on whether I still bother with writing my blog, or whether my interest in cars has faded away. I can assure you, that I still love my cars as much as I did when I was a youngster.

The things is though, that I have been very busy of late with what's been going on in my personal and professional life. The changes of circumstances in the present and in the near future take precedence to that. Thus, Definitely Motoring has unfortunately fallen down the pecking order. Hence why I've not been writing, nor posting as much new material as I'd like to. That's why there's been no or very little updates in recent times.

I won't go into great depth or detail here, because (it's more than likely) I will bore you to death with the gobbledygook. As of now, Definitely Motoring remains active but is taking a hiatus. 

It's not a matter of if I will come back. It's a matter of when. I can't really confirm when I will be back, as some things haven't been set in stone as I write this. But do keep your eyes peeled on a lookout for future updates. Nevertheless, my blog will still be here for you to hopefully enjoy reading; by flicking through the content in my carchive, and maybe leave some comments if you'd like.

Getting handy with a spanner

RECENTLY, I  enrolled onto a part time college course studying Motor Vehicle repair and maintenance. Over the years back at school, college and whatever job I have had, my interest in cars has always been there. 

I've wanted to work in the motor trade for some time. But I've never really wanted to be a car dealer or sales executive as it's not my neck of the woods.

Furthermore, I'm also keen to broaden my hands-on knowledge and experience of cars. Over the years, I've learned more about myself after working in an office, shop floor and a warehouse that I'm more of a hands-on practical person. I learn and gain more from seeing and doing things.

I don't why it's taken me a while in wanting to have a job or career working with cars. Looking back in hindsight, the truth is that I never really knew on what I wanted to do. I also feared that my interest in cars would diminish in time - turns out it hasn't. But lets not dwell on it because now I know what I want to do. What future I see for myself, and what I can be doing and that's working with cars.

It all sounds like a dream for me in wanting to embark a career with motor vehicles. It's a life goal I've set for myself. A realistic one that I can achieve. I'm looking forward and here's to the future.

FIRST of all, I will personally like to wish you a wonderful Christmas and the start to the New Year. The first Christmas here on Definitely Motoring and since I started this website, dedicating to my keen interest (some may say obsession) of cars in February this year. 

Definitely Motoring has been slowly gained a nice little following. I'm pleased to know that there are people who enjoy and check out this site. So that's a big thank you to you. Especially if you happily stop by when browsing on the web.

I'll say it again before we go, getting merry and festive. With turkey, mulled wine and pulling crackers. Have a great Christmas and start to the New Year!!
